Centralizing on the movement, identity, and presence of a constant and repeating loop, The Circle of Existence focuses on finding a sense of solace in repeating reoccurrences. By documenting loops of daily life, the project aims to explore how an archive of photographs can evoke movement and human patterns. The form and space of the collection is made up of bodies of paper that are repeated and molded into multiple sizes to serve as a difference in frame, which represents the changing day. The interior, however, remains the same, to represent the repetition of the action.
